Canned Food Drive:

TO THE TEAM:

Dear LCAT swimmers and families,
For the third year, we are sponsoring a canned food drive the day of
the first STSL meet on Saturday, November 20, at the Lansing pool. We
are asking all swimmers and families coming to the meet to drop cans
and nonperishables (pasta, ramen, peanut butter) in the front hall
when they arrive to swim. This is a fairly simple way to make a
difference in the community. In previous years, we have brought
hundreds of items to the local food pantry, much appreciated additions
to their stock on the week of Thanksgiving. It is also a great way for
our team to demonstrate our commitment to community service -- to the
area as well as to other regional swim teams.

Please consider bringing at least five items to donate on the morning
of the meet (NO glass jars, please). If you have any questions, please
